La Pinta

La Pinta is a luxurious 63 metre (207 ft) yacht, designed to provide the ultimate sophisticated Galapagos travel experience. Accommodating 48 guests in 24 spacious cabins, the ship offers discovery, adventure, environmental interpretation, aquatic activities, relaxation, superb service and great dining. Aquatic activities include snorkeling, kayaking and a glass-bottom boat. Naturalist guides enhance their interpretative skills with the use of state-of-the-art-expedition equipment. 

The cabins feature huge panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows and stylish well-equipped en-suite bathrooms. 8 connecting cabins are available making the yacht ideal for families. Other facilities on board include an outdoor terrace for dining when weather permits, an observation deck, hot tub, cardio-gym and a sun deck.

Why we like it:

"One of the larger vessels in the Galapagos but still maintains a cosy small ship feel. You won’t spend much time in your very spacious cabin but when you do you can still enjoy the beauty landscapes (or star filled sky at night) via the floor to ceiling windows. And ensuite is much more like your bathroom at home than a pokey ship ensuite, proper shower and all!  Loads of  things to enjoy on board… Jacuzzi, enjoy a cocktail on the al fresco deck or observation area towards the bow and hang with the captain and crew on the bridge (open bridge policy). Kayaks are an added bonus. Don’t want to snorkel and get wet, no problems they have got a glass bottomed boat."
