The health and safety of our guests, employees and the communities we visit are our highest priority. We have implemented the following measures to secure the highest degree of safety on board. Our policies and procedures may be subject to change due to as we monitor the evolving scientific and medical advice.
Passenger Safety: We will adopt industry leading COVID-19 policy. A key feature of this industry-leading COVID policy is the adoption of breakthrough rapid onsite PCR testing, which is recognized around the world as the gold standard of COVID testing. This test will allow expedition staff to ensure all guests receive a negative test for Covid-19 before boarding the vessel. Tests results are received with in approximately 60 minutes.
Each day guests will be asked to complete a health affidavit reporting their overall wellness. Expedition staff will use touchless thermometers to check temperatures each day.
Staff and Crew Safety: Each expedition will have two licensed physicians and a trained medical coordinator on board. In addition, isolation suites will be reserved should they become necessary during the expedition. Staff will be required to submit their travel history and health forms for medical review before they join the expedition. They will also undergo daily health checks.
Ship Cleanliness: Air flow in public spaces will be maximised to include fresh air. UV light will be employed and disinfecting systems will include improved air filters. High touch points will undergo increased cleaning and there will be enhanced ship cleaning procedures between each voyages.
