Yes. All passengers, staff, and crew will be required to receive the prescribed number of doses of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by your national health authority. Your final dose must be at least two weeks prior to departure. This includes children under the age of 16.
Yes. We will require all passengers to be tested 3 to 7 days prior to joining the group on Day 1 of the itinerary, and submit negative test results no later than 2 days prior to joining the group. In addition, we expect to test all passengers prior to embarkation, and then once more on board several days after embarkation. We may also conduct random testing during the course of your voyage.
Be aware that there may be additional testing requirements imposed by your local government, airline, or regulatory agency prior to leaving your home country, or by Argentina upon your arrival. Please be sure to fully understand and comply with all testing mandates.
The health and safety of our guests, employees and the communities we visit are our highest priority. We’ve partnered with experts in health and safety to design new protocols and procedures to be safer together as we restart our expedition operations. We will continuously evaluate our health and safety procedures and protocols and update the information on this page, specific measures may vary per sailing, local regulations, the latest medical and scientific advice as well as the conditions at the time of sailing.
Onboard Cleaning: All cabins and common areas are cleaned thoroughly daily. Tables/chairs and seating areas will be wiped down between each seating in the presentation lounge and dining area. In addition, there are ample hand-sanitizing stations throughout all decks of the ships, and all guests are required to sanitize their hands prior to entering the dining room.
Mask Policy: Masks may be required for the first few days on board until all passengers have received a third negative COVID-19 test administered by our staff. Passengers will not be required to wear a mask while dining or on the outdoor decks. This may change as guidelines and regulations dictate.
Capacity: We expect to be operating at some level of reduced capacity to allow for more spacing throughout the ships, although we do not yet know what that level will be. We are closely monitoring the appropriate regulatory agencies for their guidelines.
Yes. 100% of staff and crew on board are required to be fully vaccinated.
For now, the current science says yes. However, this may change over the months prior to scheduled departure, and we are constantly monitoring guidelines. All decisions will be made with the recommendation of our Medical Director.
Our ships will be fully stocked with Personal Protective Equipment, including masks, in the event that they are needed by any passengers, crew, or staff. For your own comfort, we encourage you to bring an ample supply of the masks that work best for you.
